A DA converter designed by Carlos Kandyas.

Digital inputs include AEX/EBU (XLR), COAX (RCA), TOS and CEC Superlink. Four inputs can be connected simultaneously and can be switched with a remote control.
In principle, the DX71 is equipped with four 24-bit DACs of Defar Indian Current Bias type, which does not generate 0 cross strain. The DAC unit consists of high-integration modules. The IV converter uses a special circuit that enables non-NFB, so that the clock signal does not impose any load on the IV converter. Each stage is a single-end type with a fully balanced configuration and achieves pure class A operation.

Equipped with Super Link newly developed by CEC, it transmits audio data stream and clock data separately without passing through encoding in SPDIF method, generates master clock at the best point closest to DAC, and is equipped with digital data synchronization circuit with built-in ultra high-speed memory device, and succeeded in essentially reducing jitter to 0 level.

The digital stage balances the signal with high precision, and the thorough parallel balance circuit design with four 24-bit DACs reduces the distortion factor by half and achieves double the signal processing speed.
It also has a single-end pure class A preamp that can drive the power amplifier directly. The volume has four 100-step high-precision ポテンションメーター units, and the resistance value is digitally controlled for smooth volume adjustment.
In addition, it has a built-in digital phase inverter (phase switching), making it easy to connect with overseas amplifiers.

In addition to the ordinary FIR digital filter, a high-linearity flat filter with no ringing at all is adopted, so that even a spherical waveform is not disturbed in the time domain, and natural sound quality is obtained.

A third order analog Gaussian filter is used for high-quality and dynamic playback.
This filter consists of only one stage amplifier, has excellent damping characteristics, and does not generate filter ringing.

In the power supply section, the digital and analog sections are completely separated and independent, and the left and right analog sections are also separated.
In addition, it features a 130,000 μ F large-capacity capacitor and a newly developed time-constant amplifier that is independent of the speed of the transformer or capacitor. This makes the power supply faster and reduces the noise level.
In addition, a time-constant amplifier is independently mounted in each stage of digital and analog. The capacity of this amplifier is ultra-low ESR without frequency fluctuation, and its theoretical value is more than 1,000,000 μ F.
