CANTON ERGO 90

Commentary
The ERGO series speaker system has been improved while inheriting the existing CT series.
Two 20-cm cone woofers are installed in the low range, and a 16-cm cone spiker is installed in the middle range. By using relatively small diameter woofers in parallel, the bass range with excellent response characteristics is achieved.
A newly developed graphite-reinforced polypropylene cone is used for the diaphragm of these units.
A 2.5 cm hard-domed tweeter is installed in the high range.
A manganese-aluminum diaphragm developed in the field of aerospace science is adopted for the diaphragm. Moreover, the diaphragm and bobbin are integrated to enhance the heat radiation effect and realize excellent transient characteristics as well as high input resistance.
The network section is designed with an emphasis on phase characteristics, and group delay characteristics, in which the phase of a specific frequency is delayed, are greatly improved. In addition, the use of durable high-quality parts reduces the deterioration of sound quality caused by the network.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
The exterior features a felt-covered baffle plate and round corners to reduce unwanted sound radiation and enhance the interior.
A large screw-type terminal is used for the input terminal to accommodate very thick cables.
There are 2 variations of finishing, mahogany and walnut.
