This floor speaker system is a special version of the Nautilus800 that was developed as a B & W 35th anniversary model.

Two 25 cm paper / Kevlar / cone type woofers are installed in the low range.
This unit has a drive system (voice coil magnet assembly) of the same scale as the 380 mm unit of N801. With two units, the effective diaphragm area is almost the same as the 38 cm unit of N801. The same stroke is driven with twice the magnetic energy. In addition, by twice the thermal power handling and the cone strength improvement by the small diameter, the tight low sound at high speed is realized.
The copper-coated pole piece reduces harmonic distortion and improves sound connection with the mid-range.

The mid-range is equipped with 16 cm diameter Warbunkevlar fiber cone FST mid-range.
This unit uses an extra-large neodymium (NdFeB) magnet with a high magnetic force for the magnetic circuit. The outer diameter of the magnetic circuit is slimmer to reduce back reflection. In addition, an extra-thick plate and short voice coil are used. By making the plate extremely thick relative to the voice coil winding width, distortion at high volume and modulation due to voice coil magnetic field are reduced.
In addition, it is equipped with an aluminum block machined fading plug to eliminate resonance with high inertia.

A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter with Nautilus tubes is installed in the high range.
This unit uses a crown-shaped aluminum voice coil bobbin to increase the joint strength between the voice coil bobbin and the dome to expand the high-resonance frequency.
In addition, silver, which has lower electrical resistance than copper, is used for the cap of the pole piece to suppress the inductance of the voice coil to the ultra-high frequency range, expand the ultra-high frequency reproduction limit, and reduce harmonic distortion.

The network part is housed in the aluminum die-cast base of the leg part to eliminate the effect of sound pressure in the cabinet.
In addition, newly developed crossover parts are used, and the highest quality polypropylene film condenser and air core coil without magnetic saturation are used for all reactance parts.

A high-gauge cable is used for bass, and the damping by the amplifier is improved by lowering the DC resistance of the cable.

The WBT 072 terminal is used for the speaker terminal. Both the spade terminal and banana terminal have their own screw caps for secure locking, and they are treated with highly reliable palladium plating.
In addition, a by-wire terminal is mounted.

It features a rounded enclosure, a matrix construction inside, a Connolly leather finish on the top and front of the cabinet, and a high gloss Gray Tiger Eye wood finish on the exterior.

The pedestal is made of die-cast aluminum and equipped with a pole slider.
Also comes with a spike kit that can be replaced as it is.
