B&W Nautilus HTM2
¥ 175,000 (1 unit, around 2000)
Commentary
This center speaker is a scaled down version of HTM1 while satisfying the standards of N800 series.
A 16.5 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The diaphragm is an FST unit with a Kevlar cone. The FST maximizes the effect of Kevlar by improving the response time of the cone and sound transmission integrity, and the frame is designed to minimize the impedance to airflow from the rear of the driver.
A 2.5 cm metal dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The enclosure has a curved cabinet structure and uses a bass reflex system.
In addition, a matrix structure is adopted inside, and the cabinet is reinforced from the inside by a three dimensional honeycomb structure to suppress the coloring.
There are 3 variations of the finish of the exterior, black ash, red cherry and cherry.
As a separately sold option, there is a special stand that can change the elevation angle in 3 stages.
This stand comes in 2 color variations, black and silver.
