Commentary
An active subwoofer designed for multi-channel playback.
The unit is equipped with a 25 cm diameter paper / Kevlar / cone type woofer weighing 11.5 kg.
Resin impregnated reinforced paper / Kevlar composite cone is used for the diaphragm, and mushroom structure center cap and double damper are also used.
The magnetic circuit is equipped with a φ 200xt25mm magnet and a φ 75 mm voice coil to support peak 1 kw power.
The amplifier section uses a specially developed small, lightweight switching high-power amplifier with peak power of 1 kw and continuous power of 700W.
There were two types of enclosures, black ash finish and cherry finish.
