Commentary
A tall boy speaker system with the same improvements as the 803S.
Two 16.5 cm cone type woofers are installed in the low range.
Lohasel (sandwich) cone is used for the diaphragm.
It has a 15 cm cone type mid-range in the mid-range.
This unit is commonly used from 800D to 804S and is an improved version of Signature800.
Woven Kevlar cone is used for the diaphragm, and neodymium magnet is used for the magnetic circuit.
A 2.5 cm hard-domed tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm uses an aluminum diaphragm and a tube-loading structure, which effectively absorbs unwanted sound radiation from the back of the diaphragm and realizes high-frequency playback with higher quality.
The network section uses an M cap super-film condenser made of pure silver film manufactured by Mundorff, Germany.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
It is a curved plywood cabinet with a matrix structure, and a flow port is used for the bass reflex port.
There are 3 kinds of variations for finishing the exterior, cherry, rose nut and black ash.
Only the black ash finish was a made-to-order product and the delivery period was 1 to 3 months.
