Commentary

A digital processor developed as a D/A processor with an analog input.

The Model870 uses an ultra-fast converter that provides pure 16 x oversampling processing for 16 bits in less than two microseconds.
This ultra-high-speed converter is very expensive and has to supply a large amount of high-speed computing power from the digital processor itself. However, we have adopted it in order to draw out the potential of CD. With only one converter for each of the left and right channels, 16 bits and 16 times oversampling are achieved.

Equipped with a digital phase compensation switch, it is compatible with CDs recorded in opposite phases.
In addition, the digital filter can be switched ON/OFF according to your preference. When turned off, a frequency curve occurs in the high-frequency range of 10 kHz or higher.

The volume uses a 23-step attenuator type.
This volume controller uses a discrete low-capacity register with a self-cleaning contact function, and achieves precise adjustment by maintaining a tight balance between channels.

Equipped with digital input of Route 3.

It can also be used as a preamplifier for tape decks.

There was an input module for the tuner as an option sold separately.
