BOSE MM-1B/MM-1W
¥ 25,000 (1 unit set, around 1998)
Commentary
An active speaker system developed for near-field listening on desktops and other devices.
In order to prevent this phenomenon, the MM-1 is designed with the front baffle tilted by approximately 23 degrees, enabling sound without the influence of reflected sound.
The unit uses a 5.7 cm cone type full-range unit.
In addition, an aeroport is adopted in the cabinet to increase the low sound reproduction capability and to suppress port noise by the unique flare shape.
Taking the characteristics of the ears into consideration, we have adopted PAP circuit which is Bose's proprietary patented technology.
The PAP circuit automatically adjusts the volume balance according to changes in the human auditory sense, so that natural and powerful sound can be produced even at a low volume.
Built-in power amplifier.
Equipped with two input terminals, line mix is possible by operating the mixing volume on the front baffle.
If you turn this volume to the left or right, you can play only one sound system.
The power switch of the amplifier is equipped with a mute circuit to reduce pop noise.
There are 2 types of variations, MM-1B for black color and MM-1W for frosty white color.
