Commentary
Universal player with multi-channel preamp function.
Audio circuit section
Equipped with a Dolby Digital, DTS, SACD multi-channel decoder and master volume.
This allows direct connection to the power amplifier without going through the AV amplifier.
The D/A converter for CD uses four Bar-Brown PCM1704K Sine Magnitude 24-bit DACs with a symmetrical balanced circuit configuration. These 24-bit DACs
With upsampling operation of up to 192 khz, it is possible to reproduce -120dB signal without 0 cross distortion or glitch even though it is a multi-bit DAC.
The D/A conversion section for SACD uses a Bar Brown DSD1792 with two left and right channels each in a differential balance circuit configuration.
Following the DAC, a discrete circuit is used for I/V conversion with an emphasis on sound quality.
Jitter component is eliminated by asynchronous clock generation circuit.
External digital inputs include XLR balance, RCA coaxial, and TOS optical.
There was an optional analog input module.
By adding this module, the analog input of balanced one system and unbalanced Route 3 can be added.
Video circuit part
The video circuit uses a pure cinema progressive scan (2-3 pull-down).
The video DAC uses a 216MHz/12-bit high-end video DAC.
Equipped with a focus filter with 4 : 4 : 4 video upsampling.
You can adjust up to 16 video parameters.
In addition, memory of 3 patterns is possible.
Three standard image quality types are available : CRT, PDP, and Professional.
The optional DVI digital video output jack supports digital video output.
It uses a Japanese display menu and setup navigator to guide complicated home theater settings.
