Commentary
Multi-channel power amplifier with modular design.
The amplifier module employs 20 high-power MOS-FET output elements, and high power is realized by bridge configuration with 2 pairs of 5 parallel output stages.
The circuit uses a perfectly balanced transmission from input to output, and achieves excellent performance in distortion factor and noise characteristics.
The power supply section uses the latest switching regulator with a large capacity of 8 kva.
There are two types of input jacks : XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced.
A large speaker terminal with a plastic cover is used for the output terminal.
Vibration isolation structure with extra-thick aluminum front panel and steel chassis is adopted.
The Grendel is available in two variations, 5-channel and 2-channel, as well as 10-channel configuration with an optional stereo module.
