Commentary
A stereo power amplifier developed by refining the V-5.
We have adopted a full balance and 0 feedback design in keeping with tradition.
An FET is used for the input stage, a bipolar type is used for the output stage, and a current mirror circuit is used for the input circuit to improve the ability to eliminate disturbances related to power supply and improve the stability of DC voltage.
The output stage is based on the T-circuit developed by Mr. Bart Locanthi in the mid 1960 s and has been improved with new ideas. This circuit was developed using RF-"neutralization"technology to ensure stability regardless of speaker or cable load.
A BIAS-LOK circuit has been developed to ensure that the bias current of the bipolar output stage is kept close to the critical value for maximum sound quality.
This circuit is designed to maintain an ideal operating condition regardless of load and temperature conditions, while reducing idle power and heat generation significantly as a secondary effect.
The power transformer uses an EI core type with excellent sound quality and excellent S/N characteristics.
The power supply circuit uses the well-established "air conditioner" Lian filter.
This allows for faithful playback regardless of AC power status, while reducing the overall noise level.
Thick solid aluminum is used for the finish of the face plate, and the corners are smoothly curved.
The heat sink is installed inside the unit to avoid external projections, and the legs are designed to be compact and easy to install.
Both balanced and unbalanced inputs are supported.
Equipped with a pass-through output terminal, it can be used for distribution to bi-amplifier and tri-amplifier.
Equipped with trigger input terminal for remote power ON.
There are 2 color variations of silver and black.
