Commentary

2-way floor speaker system with 30 cm woofer and low distortion horn.

The SS-730s uses the same horn tweeter as the SS-930s, and the diameter of the woofer is designed to be different.

A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The cone paper used is made by Horley Inc. in the United States and has excellent internal loss and stiffness.
In addition, 140 mm diameter ferrite magnet is used for the magnet.

A horn type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of titanium, the voice coil is edgewise wound with aluminum ribbon wire to improve efficiency and input resistance, and the magnet is cast inner magnet type to reduce distortion.
The horn section is a short-cut type made of die-cast aluminum. The multi-pass equalizer and large acoustic lens are used to match the phase characteristics to achieve excellent directivity.

The network part is designed with attention paid to constituent elements.
A low-distortion, low-DC resistance ferrite core coil for the woofer is used, a low-distortion special metalized film condenser with low power loss and low distortion is used, and an ideal circuit is selected from repeated listening tests.

Equipped with continuously variable level control for middle and high range.

The enclosure has a bass reflex design with a high-density particle board, and a slit-shaped partition plate effectively connects to the low-range constriction.
The exterior has a wood-grain finish of Viola maple.
