Commentary

A speaker system designed with an emphasis on the sound energy.

A 25 cm cone type woofer of fo29Hz is installed in the low range.
The diaphragm of this unit uses a new 11.7g Kurt Mueller cone with strength and moderate internal loss. The edge uses a specially molded rubber edge. The design also takes into consideration the arrow rubber part that secures the edge to the frame.
The voice coil of the magnetic circuit uses an aluminum bobbin with four layers of polyurethane wire wound around it to improve heat resistance and efficiency. It uses a ferrite magnet with a diameter of 110 mm.
A 4 mm thick die-cast frame has been adopted for the frame to suppress parasitic vibration.

A 7 cm cone type tweeter is installed in the high range. The fo unit itself is 250 Hz, but it is crossed at 2 kHz to reduce distortion.
This unit has a damper less structure that reduces the weight of the vibration system and reduces strain. The center cap is dumped with a sound absorbing material made of urethane. The magnetic circuit uses a 65 mm diameter ferrite magnet.
In order to prevent the sound range close to the middle sound near the crossover from becoming muddy, a sound absorbing material is placed in the air chamber at the rear of the diaphragm and a urethane flange is used to prevent reflection from around the tweeter.

In the network, a coil using a high permeability ferrite core with a diameter of 45 mm is adopted for the woofer. The coil winding is also thick with a diameter of 1.2 mm, and the DC resistance is suppressed to about 1/36 of the rated impedance. In addition, an impedance compensation circuit is equipped for the woofer, which prevents the electromagnetic damping from being weakened by LC circuit near the crossover.
A low-loss metalized polyester film condenser is used for the low-cut tweeter.

Equipped with a constant resistance type continuously variable level control, the level of the tweeter can be adjusted.
This part is made of material that can withstand up to 100W of instantaneous power, reducing the effect on sound quality.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system, and the top plate, bottom plate, and both side plates are 15 mm thick, and the baffle and back plate are 18 mm thick particle boards to reduce resonance.
The front baffle the front baffle is reinforced with a strong hozo set.
