Commentary

This speaker system was developed for studio monitors with the aim of achieving the highest level of performance, sound quality and design.

A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A concave cone is used for the diaphragm. In this system, the center cap is actively used for acoustic radiation. A concave diaphragm made of a mixture of special chemical fibers is newly designed and used instead of the conventional convex diaphragm. This makes vibration transmission from the voice coil straightforward, and wave surface propagation is arranged to achieve natural sound quality. In addition, the concave cone can obtain a smooth high-frequency attenuation characteristic and eliminates sound turbidity caused by rough high-frequency characteristics near the crossover. This diaphragm was developed by introducing an improved Optron observation device. It observes speaker vibration from a distance and clarifies sound turbidity.
A large 8 kg magnet is used for the magnetic circuit.

The mid-range features a 22x11cm horn mid-range.
This unit uses an edge support system.

A 6 cm horn type tweeter equipped with an acoustic lens is mounted in the high range.
In this unit, intermodulation distortion near the cutoff is improved by arranging pinholes in an annular shape at the edge of the diaphragm, and directional characteristics in the high frequency range are improved by an acoustic lens.

The mid-range and high-range are equipped with level control, and 4-stage switching is possible in 2 dB steps each.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.

2-way / 3-way multi-amplifier connection is possible by switching the switch.
