Commentary

A record player with a condenser cartridge and photoelectric servo.

The drive mechanism uses a direct drive system.
A photoelectric servo system is used in the servo circuit of this mechanism. This speed control system is equipped with a striped slit plate that rotates simultaneously with the turntable. This slit plate is sandwiched between a light projecting part and a light receiving part. The photosensitive element CDs in the light receiving part detects the interruption of light caused by the rotation of the slit and detects a pulse. This pulse is amplified, the waveform is adjusted by a multivibrator, and integrated into a DC voltage. This voltage is compared with a reference voltage, and the difference voltage is amplified and sent to a switching circuit to control the driving voltage of the motor.
As a characteristic of light, its response speed is fast and accurate, thus realizing an excellent speed control method.

The drive motor uses an eddy current AC servo motor with less uneven torque.

The cartridge is equipped with C-404X, an electret condenser cartridge.
This cartridge uses an extended needle at the needle tip, which is similar in shape to a cutter needle. Therefore, this needle has excellent characteristics of being a beggar, and can provide playback sound with less distortion even inside the record.
This cartridge can also play CD-4 discs.

It uses a touch switch type speed selector switch and can switch between 33 1/3 rotation and 45 rotation just by lightly touching the fingertips.

In addition to a strobe device for precise control of speed, it is equipped with a speed monitoring device in the form of a lamp.
This function is provided only as a guide. It lights up at 1% for each of lead and delay. For example, if you use a cartridge with a heavy needle pressure such as 3g for speed adjustment when using a cartridge with a needle pressure of 1.5g, it can be used as a guide when the load may fluctuate slightly.

The tone arm uses a static balance S-shaped tone arm.
Equipped with an oil dump elevation mechanism.

A reflective type using a mirror is used for the strobe part.

33 1/3 speed of 1/3 and 45 can be adjusted by ± 4%.

Equipped with a brake mechanism for speed switching.
33 1/3 rotation and 45 rotation speed switching can be performed quickly.

Two shell stands are provided.

A level is provided to check the level of the system.

Equipped with an insulator whose height can be adjusted.

45 adapter and overhang gauge are included.
