Commentary
Adres unit that can use adres (Automatic Dynamic Range Expansion System).
You can play back the adres record.
For playback, set the amp switch to the position of the tape monitor where you can record and play back the tape simultaneously. Set the AD-2mkII selector switch to the adres disk. Then play the included CAL tone sheet (Sonosheet) in the player and turn the level indicator completely on the input volume of the AD-2mkII. If you remember the position of the input volume with the level marker on the outside, you can adjust the reference level with one touch when playing back the record.
Equipped with an LED level indicator that enables level monitoring.
The level indicator of the AD-2mkII can be used to monitor the level at the time of adres recording, in addition to displaying the reference level of -3dB (1 kHz) of the adres, depending on the lighting condition of the indicator. When recording a source with many high-frequency components, you can record with the saturation characteristics of the tape by limiting the maximum value so that both indicators light (for AX tapes).
Input volume and output volume operate even when the adres is Out.
Equipped with a knob for CAL adjustment.
Equipped with adres recording / playback and CAL tone indicator.
