A CD player that uses semiconductor devices to pursue audio research sounds.

The mechanism uses a more robust and highly accurate CD-ROM drive mechanism and a laser pickup.
Together with elaborate mechanical resonance control technology, the most important signal reading accuracy has been improved.

As a CD transport or CD player, it is equipped with a variety of output terminals so that it can be used for all purposes.
Digital outputs include BNC co-axes and optical TOS links, as well as AES/EBU-format balanced jacks, and an optional ATT-standard ST-link high-speed optical output jack.
The analog output supports balanced and unbalanced loads, and a direct-coupling circuit provides a colorized internal high-resolution signal.

The D/A converter uses a 20-bit bit stream conversion type D/A converter.
Full differential operation and analog balanced output circuit unique to Audio Research realize high sound quality.

It is equipped with playing functions such as program and shuffle.

Wireless remote control with 10 keys is included.
