In the 1998 catalog, it was stated that the trial listening test had been conducted by 4 members since the foundation with film speakers, and the product was made to be able to drive faithfully all modern speakers.
Audio Research procures vacuum tubes in large quantities at low cost in order to provide a stable supply of vacuum tubes to owners in the future. It does not use rare vacuum tubes such as small-scale production or old type vacuum tubes. The vacuum tubes used are subjected to strict quality checks. The vacuum tubes that are checked and selected are aged for 48 hours, rigorously checked again, and incorporated into pair-matched products.
