Commentary
MC Mono cartridge designed as a mono only version of AC 03.
When a monaural disc is played back with a stereo cartridge, the vertical vibration component, which is a characteristic of stereo recording, is picked up, and the sound clarity is reasonable.
The AC 03 mono not only meets the requirements for mono playback, but also pursues sound quality.
The basic design philosophy and materials are based on AC 03. However, in order to realize the original monaural reproduction, the generator coil is arranged only for the horizontal signal and does not have sensitivity in the vertical direction. However, the vibration system has compliance in all directions, so it can handle records under any condition.
