ATC SCM20sl

Commentary

This is a bookshelf type speaker system of the sl series that uses a super linear magnet system.

Like the SCM20, the SCM20sl inherits the basics of ATC such as a large magnet system, a short ribbon voice coil, and a long stroke gap. Moreover, by minimizing eddy current distortion, the SCM20sl realizes the quality suitable for monitor speakers.

A 6.5 inch cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit is designed by applying the magnetic circuit of the woofer unit installed in the SCM100sl and SCM50sl. It is also composed of a 3-inch mid-range soft dome combined with a woofer cone with excellent split vibration characteristics to realize a unit with excellent transient characteristics.
In addition, a new structure equipped with an eddy current ring made of super linear magnetic material has been adopted to improve the performance of the unit.

A 1-inch domed tweeter is installed in the high range.
This unit has the same specifications as SCM100sl/SCM50sl.

The enclosure is hermetically sealed.
