Commentary

This is a speaker system in which the design of A-7 has been changed to a tall boy type.

The A-7T uses a tall boy type to easily install the A-7 at a height suitable for listening.
However, the total volume of the enclosure is not taken as an internal volume, and the enclosure is designed as an integrated speaker stand with the enclosure extended to the floor. The size of the enclosure is only slightly larger than the original A - balance.

A newly developed 4.3 inch cone type woofer is mounted in the low range.
This unit uses a magnetic circuit equipped with a huge 3.5 kg magnet. Each voice coil is manually wound with edgewise OFC for high density. The diameter of this coil is extremely large for a unit of this diameter, about twice as large as an average unit. This gives high linearity and conversion capability. In addition, the entire coil is in an extremely narrow gap, and the black oxide film magnet acts as a heat sink to avoid thermal compression. The total length of the cone assembly stroke is 35 mm.

A newly developed 1.2 inch dome-type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is hand-made of polyester fiber in optimal shape and carefully dumped to create a clear and distortion-free unit.
In addition, neodymium magnet that can obtain high energy is used for the magnet.

In-house designed circuits are also used in the network section.
The parts are made of air-core coil with special OFC and high-quality metal polypropylene condenser with withstand voltage of 250 V, so that it can cope with large overload.

The entire unit is fixed in a solid die-cast chassis.
The enclosure is hermetically sealed and is finished with an appropriate gasket and dump material that controls internal pressure while minimizing resonance and using carefully selected materials that do not muddy the sound.
The exterior has a European cherry finish.

Speaker terminal for bi-wiring is adopted.
