ARCAM DELTA TWO
¥ 78,000 (1 unit, around 1990)
Commentary
A speaker system developed as an upgraded model of the Arcam Two.
To ensure accurate stereo positioning, both the woofer and tweeter are tuned to match at 0.5 dB.
A 18 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
Polypropylene cone is used for the diaphragm, and cast frame is used for the frame.
A 2.0 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The internal wiring is made of thin, rigid single-core high-purity copper wire, which prevents phase distortion due to skin effects caused by thick wires and strand jump caused by multi-strand wires.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
Mounting the woofer frame in alignment with the front baffle reduces the secondary reflections of the tweeter, resulting in smooth upper mid-range playback.
Vibration absorbing medite is used for the front baffle, and external appearance is walnut finished.
Bi-wired connection is supported.
There was a special stand sold separately.
This stand is designed to fit the Arcam Two and is made of medite.
