DELTA 170mk2
Commentary

CD Transport, an improved version of DELTA170.

The DELTA170mk2 has an upgraded digital clock circuit and is designed to Standard 1, the highest level of precision for professionals.

The CDM1mk2 mechanism manufactured by Philips is used for the mechanism part. In addition, an anti-vibration mechanism is provided at important points to ensure excellent signal reading capability.

In the DELTA170, the master oscillator is completely independent of other circuits.
Because the master oscillator of a typical CD player is connected to the CD mechanism and digital circuitry, the frequency of the oscillator changes into jitter, which is the main cause of indistinctness and overall harshness.
In the DELTA170, the power transformer and power circuit of the master oscillator are dedicated and connected to other circuits through an opto-isolator. In addition, the clock frequency accuracy is designed to Professional Model Level Standard 1 to minimize distortion of sound quality.

You can dim or turn off the display with a switch on the front panel.
This prevents digital noise from the display.

It has two digital outputs, optical and coaxial.
The coaxial output uses balanced drive technology to minimize ground noise and provide clearer sound.

Wireless remote control is included.

There was a wood case as an option sold separately.
