Commentary

This vertical series 3-way floor type speaker system inherits the design philosophy of the AR-9.

A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.

It is equipped with a 3.8 cm dome type unit for the middle range and a 1.9 cm dome type unit for the high range.
Between the voice coil and developed by NASA is inserted between the voice coil and yoke to reduce distortion and improve input resistance as a structure that does not shake from the central axis.
In addition, an acoustic blanket, a special sound absorbing material, is installed around the unit to prevent deterioration of sound quality due to reflected sound.

The network section is designed to eliminate wall dip by placing speakers in an actual listening room or in an outdoor environment with 180 degrees front open.
17 AWG air-core awg air-core coils, computer-grade electrolytic capacitors, and non-inductive high input resistance ceramic resistors are used as elements.

The AR traditional acoustic suspension system is used for the enclosure.
In this system, the air acts as a spring by completely sealing the inside, and compliance can be increased, and low-frequency resonance frequency can be made lower.
In addition, walnut oil finish is applied.
