Commentary
A floor-type speaker system developed for the 604E and 605B.
Kresendo is a speaker system developed by Elektri and approved and sold by Altec. It is designed to match the proven 604E and 605B monitor speakers.
The unit uses a 38 cm coaxial type unit 604E/605B that has been used as a monitor speaker in recording studios around the world.
These units use a multi-cellar horn and 802 and 806 type drivers for high frequencies. By adopting a coaxial composite structure with the woofer section, it realizes sound with good orientation and excellent directivity and transient characteristics.
605B is a unit similar to 604E, and the start-up characteristics are slightly different because the magnetic circuit is different.
The cabinet uses a bass reflex system.
Also, the design is calm and suitable for both Western and Japanese rooms.
