ALTEC LANSING 846B/846E Valencia

Commentary

This is a floor type speaker system which is the successor of 846A Valencia.

In Japan, the 2nd generation Valencia was sold in 2 kinds of variations.
The Altec original 846B Valencia has a different design from the 846A and uses a deep slit on the front grill as a motif. The 846E Valencia is a speaker system with a design similar to the 846A Valencia, and the cabinet is a designated domestic cabinet approved by Altec and sold.

The unit configuration is the same as that of the Voice of the Theater A7-8.
38 cm cone type woofer 416-8A is mounted in the low range, and horn type unit which combines driver 806-8A and horn 811B is mounted in the high range.

N801-8A is used for the network part.

The cabinet uses a bass reflex system.
