ALR/Jordan Entry Si

Commentary

This speaker system was developed as a successor to the Entry S announced in 1999.

The Entry Si was developed because the tweeter used in the Entry S was discontinued. At that time, the analyzer introduced in the development of the top-of-the-line model NOTE-9 was used. The newly designed tweeter and network are used while maintaining sound balance that can be used together with the Entry S.

A 11.5 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A metal cone is used for the diaphragm. This diaphragm was developed by integrating the research results of E. J. Jordan, who is said to be the first person in the metal cone unit, and the technology of ALR.
In addition, as for the magnetic circuit, we have adopted a strong one that can be said to be oversized compared to the light cone.

A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
Polyester fiber is newly used for the diaphragm, and the dome shape is also changed to expand the frequency characteristics from 23 kHz to 28 kHz (0 -3dB).
The dome is coated with a conventional surface coating, but it is opened with a new laser. The small hole creates a ventilation effect inside the dome, allowing for heat dissipation and smooth operation of the diaphragm.
The front plate part has been changed to a new design to optimize dispersion.

A passive type network composed of T-type resistors is used in the network section to minimize electrical resonance.
At the design stage, a high-quality circuit is realized by utilizing the latest simulator introduced at the development stage of NOTE-9.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
The included foam plug can also be inserted into the bass port on the rear of the enclosure for low-range tuning by changing the depth.

The back side is equipped with a hook receiver for hanging on the wall.

The speaker terminal is gold-plated, and a banana plug can be connected by removing the cap at the center of the nipple.

There are comes in four variations : beechwood + black grill, gray finish + black grill, black finish + black or blue grill.
