Commentary

This cassette deck inherits the concept of the GX-Z9100EX.

The Super GX head using LC-OFC Class 1 material (Quantum) is used for the recording and reproducing head.
The GX is an acronym for Glass & X' tal. The core is made of ferrite with high hardness and excellent magnetic characteristics, and the surrounding head gap is filled with glass with the same hardness as ferrite. This realizes excellent wear resistance and high-frequency characteristics. Compared with amorphous materials, the GX has excellent head life and high-frequency characteristics.
The head used in the GX-Z7100EX uses LC-OFC Class 1 material (Quantum), a new material that completely eliminates hydrogen gas components that are harmful to sound quality, for the head winding to further increase the amount of information.

LC-OFC Class 1 material (Quantum) is also used for the earth line.

Closed loop double capstan system using DD motor is adopted for the mechanism part.
In addition, ceramic tape guide is used for the tape guide.

We are working to reduce noise by changing the type of the operational amplifier for the reproduction equalizer to a material that best matches the Super GX head. We are also working to improve sound quality by making the reproduction circuit a fully connected amplifier.
Furthermore, by adding a cross-shaped bus bar board on the amplifier board, we are reducing the impedance of the ground circuit and taking measures against vibration of the board itself.

Using separate block construction, the amplifier system is separated and independent from the microcomputer mounted control unit and display unit to eliminate interference of noise with music signal. The chassis structure itself is also made to be highly rigid construction resistant to vibration.

The cassette half is equipped with I / V / O (Improved Vibration Off) cassette stabilizer.
This stabilizer uses Sorbocein to greatly reduce the contamination of medium and low frequency sounds caused by the chirping of the cassette half. In addition, the conventional type has been further improved to cope with various cassette half, and the adhesion is improved by processing the surface into a convex shape.
In addition, by using aluminum for the cassette lid, vibration absorption and high rigidity are pursued.

The power supply has an EI-type transformer.
We are also working to reduce hum noise by strengthening the power transformer shield.

The high-pass condenser for canceling microcomputer noise has been changed to a film type with superior sound quality.
We are also working to improve the quality by upgrading various relays and adopting copper-plated screws.

Equipped with manual calibration function of bias / level with built-in oscillator.

Equipped with a high frequency bias circuit.

Equipped with display off function, noise of FL tube can be reduced.

Equipped with Dolby HX Pro, it is possible to expand the dynamic range of high frequency.
In addition, Dolby B/C NR is installed as a noise reduction system.

With a CD/DAT direct connector, the input sensitivity is optimized and the signal path is simplified.

Uses direct lead-in and power eject mechanism.

Equipped with an auto tape selector.

Equipped with a real-time tape counter.

It is equipped with spot erase function, A-B repeat function, and IPSS function which enables you to skip up to 16 songs in front and back.

Wireless remote control is included.
