Commentary
A double rec double reverse cassette deck equipped with a super GX head and high-precision mechanism.
It has a unique character recording function.
This feature is equipped with a character mode switch for headphone stereo and car stereo, so that you can record with optimum frequency characteristics with one touch operation. Especially when you use tapes recorded in headphone stereo or car stereo mode with insufficient tone control, the playback sound is more effective.
The Twin Field Super GX head is mounted on the recording / reproducing head of the Tape I/II.
The GX is an acronym for Glass & X' tal. The core is made of ferrite with high hardness and excellent magnetic properties, and the surrounding head gap is filled with glass with the same hardness as ferrite. This realizes excellent wear resistance and high-frequency characteristics. Compared with amorphous materials, the GX is superior in head life and high-frequency characteristics. In addition, LC-OFC is used for the head winding to improve sound quality.
The Twinfield Super GX head has the same characteristics as the 3-head by providing separate recording and playback gaps in the head housing.
Bi-directional symmetrical precision (BSP) mechanism has been adopted for each mechanism of Deck I and II.
In the BSP mechanism, the tape transport is made almost symmetrical to the left and right so that the round-trip tape travel characteristics are made uniform, reducing the difference in sound quality caused by the travel difference between the forward and reverse directions.
As for the blank of the sound generated during the quick reverse operation, we have realized playback with almost no sound interruption by adopting a method that uses an infrared sensor to detect the joint between the magnetic band portion of the tape and the leader tape and invert it.
Equipped with an edit dubbing function that allows dubbing while editing.
It is also equipped with functions that are convenient for editing, such as a simultaneous recording function that allows simultaneous recording of the same source on Tapes I and II, continuous recording and playback, IPSS that allows selection by skipping 30 songs before and after, and blank skip.
High-tune DC amplifier configuration is adopted.
Dolby HX-PRO is installed in both Tapes I and II.
Equipped with Dolby B/C NR as a noise reduction system.
Equipped with an auto tape selector.
With a CD/DAT direct connector, the input sensitivity is optimized and the signal path is simplified.
Wireless remote control is included.
