Commentary
Tape deck with built-in GX head and oil circulation type oil-free motor.
GX head is used for the head.
Unlike permalloy and general polycrystalline ferrite, the core of the GX head is made of low-noise single crystal ferrite with excellent magnetic characteristics. Since the whole core is a single crystal, it has excellent wear resistance.
In addition, it is wrapped in super hard glass with the same wear characteristics.
As a result, the overall shape of the head can be made to be ideal. As a result, a focused sharp magnetic field with an extremely small amount of compensation for the equalizer is generated. At the same time, the dynamic range of the tape is expanded, making it possible to record / playback with excellent S/N days and distortion factor.
A 3-motor system is used to ensure the tape running system.
The capstan drive motor uses an oil-circulating oil-free type motor developed by AKAI.
The hysteresis synchronous motor is equipped with an oil lubrication mechanism made of cellulose fiber oil-retaining material, which automatically circulates oil by utilizing the rotational force and temperature rise of the shaft, and maintains smooth rotation without motor trouble.
Two high-torque 6-pole eddy current outer rotor motors are used to drive the reel.
When using a super-range tape (S. R. T) or a general low-noise tape, simply set the tape selector switch to S. R. T. The frequency compensation amount can be changed and each characteristic can be displayed.
Equipped with a Oatley bar playback mechanism and manual reverse button.
Equipped with 2-lever operation mechanism.
Equipped with an equalizer switch for 3 speeds and a temporary stop lever with a start button.
It is equipped with a sound-on-sound button that enables overlapping recording.
Equipped with an automatic stop mechanism that stops the rotation of the reel when the tape is wound on one reel and an automatic shut-off mechanism that automatically turns off the power.
Equipped with a monitor switch capable of simultaneous monitoring.
Equipped with left and right channel recording level control.
Equipped with VU meter.
