AFB-7
Commentary

An active speaker system using the AFBS system.

Aiwa's original Acoustic Feedback System (AFBS) is adopted.
In this system, an electret condenser microphone set near the woofer diaphragm picks up sound waves emitted from speakers, converts them into electrical signals, and feeds them negatively back to the input of a power amplifier.
This reduces distortion in the low frequency range and produces a damped sound.

The unit uses a 10 cm cone type speaker.
This unit has an anti-magnetic design.

It has a built-in 10W power amplifier with volume control.

An acoustic polars composite (APC) enclosure is used for the enclosure.
In the AFB-7, the plate thickness is increased to 8.5 mm for higher rigidity, and regeneration with less distortion is realized.
The internal structure is hermetically sealed.

With a free angle mechanism, the speaker angle can be adjusted according to the listener's preference.
It can be adjusted up to an elevation angle of 110 °.

It can be freely installed by using the attached wall bracket or BOSE mounting arm (GMA-3).
