Commentary
This is a Dolby C-type cassette deck that adopts the super stabilized tenson dual capstan system.
It adopts the super stabilized torsion dual capstan system adopted in AD-FF8.
In this method, a special process called micrograin processing is applied to the capstan on the take-up side to reduce slip between the capstan and the pinch roller. This realizes constant tape tension and suggests level fluctuation and modulation noise.
Aiwa's unique combination DX head is used for the head.
In this head, the eddy current loss is reduced by laminating six cores in multiple layers, and the high-frequency characteristics are improved. In addition, the undulation of the low-frequency characteristics due to the contour effect is also improved.
Wear resistance has been improved by using a hard composite material for the guard part sendust and core spacer.
The noise reduction system is equipped with a Dolby C type in addition to the conventional Dolby B type.
The Dolby C-type has approximately twice the noise reduction effect of the B-type, and the high-frequency saturation characteristics are also improved by incorporating a circuit that suppresses the level of the high-frequency large input signal and returns it to the original level when it is played back.
To prevent the head from being magnetized, it is equipped with an automatic degaussing system ADMS.
Equipped with a 4-digit electronic counter with tape time display.
Equipped with bias fine adjustment mechanism exclusively for LH tape.
Equipped with a 3-color 12-point peak program meter with peak hold.
Equipped with full logic control for queuing and reviewing.
Equipped with an MPX filter ON/OFF switch.
Equipped with an automatic tape slack removal mechanism.
Equipped with a timer standby mechanism.
Equipped with remote control terminal.
The microphone terminal is mounted on the back.
