Commentary
A stereo cassette deck developed with the aim of improving the best recording and operability.
In order to accurately capture peaks that cannot be followed by the VU meter, it is equipped with a 9-point multi-peak indicator. It displays -15dB to -7dB in green, -3dB to + 2 db in yellow, and + 4 db to + 7 db in red.
In addition, it is equipped with a peak hold mechanism that holds the peak level in the red area of + 4 dB to + 7 dB. If you turn the hold button ON, the maximum value is displayed during recording and playback.
In addition to the 3-step tape selector with independent bias and equalizer, bias fine adjustment mechanism for each of LH, FeCr FeCr, and CrO2 tapes.
By adopting a dual motor drive system in which the capstan and the take-up reel are separately driven, extra load applied to the capstan and drive motor is reduced and low wow and flutter are realized.
A 38-pulse FG servo motor is used for the capstan drive motor, and a 2-speed DC servo motor is used for the reel take-up motor. The rotation speed is slower for FWD/REVIEW/CUE and faster for REW/FF.
Equipped with a tape level meter.
Ferrite guard head is used for the head.
It is equipped with the function of Quick Review queue.
Equipped with a rec mute mechanism with muting time indicator.
Equipped with timer standby mechanism.
Equipped with a pure electronic full autostop mechanism.
It uses an oil dump ejection system to protect the mechanism and vomiting.
Equipped with line and microphone switching switches.
Equipped with a Dolby system and MPX filter.
Front-side line-in jacks
Equipped with Mic (L + R) jack for monaural recording with one microphone.
Equipped with a sync operation mechanism, the deck can be started simultaneously with the player's start when recording by connecting to Aiwa's player with a Rec Sync terminal.
Set the deck to the recording state and turn on the pause button. Recording starts as soon as the tone arm of the player is lowered.
There was a remote control unit sold separately.
