Commentary
This stereo cassette deck was developed to pursue strict performance and improve operability.
Equipped with a tape gauge that can check the remaining time of the tape.
When you press the Tape Time switch on the front panel, the rotational speed of the supply reel is converted to voltage and displayed as the remaining time of the tape on the meter on the left. You can read the remaining amount of tapes such as C-30 to C-120 tapes and large hub type tapes.
A 38-pulse FG servo motor has been adopted for the motor. In addition, superior characteristics have been achieved by the use of capstan that strictly pursues roundness and straightness, large flywheel, and specially shaped reel shaft.
The tape selector has three bias stages, three recording equalizers, and two playback equalizers.
For many types of LH type tapes with different characteristics, the bias fine adjustment knob can be used to select the proper bias value. The variable range is ± 105, enabling recording and playback taking advantage of the characteristics of the tapes used.
The ejector mechanism uses an oil dump system, and the cassette lid is made of glass so that it can be attached and removed for head cleaning.
In addition to the large VU meter, it uses a two step peak indicator that lights up in two steps of + 3 dB and + 7 dB to quickly respond to signals that cannot be followed by the VU meter and indicate distortion levels.
Equipped with timer standby mechanism that can record absence and play back alarm clock.
Equipped with a Dolby system.
Equipped with an input selector to improve the SN ratio during line recording.
Equipped with full auto-stop mechanism using Hall IC.
Ferrite guard head is used for the head.
Built-in memory counter and quick review queue function.
It has a read-only volume.
Equipped with a tape illumination lamp.
Record and Dolby display lamps are mounted.
Equipped with a player sync terminal.
