Commentary
A speaker system developed by inheriting the design philosophy of Areal.
Two 18 cm cone type woofers are installed in the lower range.
This unit was newly designed for exclusive use. By adopting large magnet with breathability, 40 mm diameter coil and cast frame, it realizes high speed, dynamic and deep low range.
The mid-range is equipped with a 12.7 cm cone type mid-range.
This unit is an unsealed version of the unit used in the established Model CC3.
The high pass is equipped with an original 2.5 cm dome type tweeter by Eireal.
The network section is assembled using two glass-epoxy circuit boards, and parts and wire materials are carefully selected for the whole section.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
It is designed in a compact size with limited width, and the interior is reinforced to eliminate coloring. In addition, 2-inch thick material is used on three sides under strict matching. In addition, multi-layer damping blocks are arranged in important places to eliminate coloring completely.
The mid-range is mounted in a separate chamber filled with wool to eliminate the influence of back pressure from other units.
The exterior finish is a mirror image pair makeup finish, and the side panel is designed so that the pattern of the wood grain is symmetrical on left and right.
Bi-wired connection is supported.
There was a special base as an option sold separately.
