Commentary
A speaker system that maintains the sound image of Stella Opas and Stella Melody as much as possible while reducing cost and size.
In the lower range, it is equipped with a 13 cm cone woofer that is 1 inch smaller and has the same contrivance as Stella Opas and Stella Melody units.
The diaphragm is made of a natural material, paper cone, which has been treated with a coating, and uses a pentagonal diaphragm with less miscellaneous resonance. As a result, the high-frequency attenuation characteristic is straightforward, which reduces the burden on the network and smooths the connection with the tweeter.
In addition, the long-stroke voice coil structure improves the bass reproduction capability.
The high-frequency band is equipped with a 3.5 cm inverted dome type tweeter, the same as Stella Opas and Stella Melody.
The diaphragm of this unit uses a mixture of 50% bio-cellulose (natural fiber) and 50% carbon fiber. This diaphragm was newly developed over four years. The ultrafine bio-cellulose fiber firmly wraps the carbon fiber, reducing the rusting noise caused by the unique rubbing of carbon fiber.
In addition, neodymium magnet is used for the magnet.
Both the high-pass and low-pass units use a double magnet system, so there is no influence on cathode ray tubes due to magnetic flux leakage.
There were five variations in finishes for Stella Harmony : lacquer finishes (poplar, piano black, and elable red) and matte finishes (pier, oak).
There was a stand exclusively for Stella Harmony sold separately.
This stand is constructed by sandwiching a top plate and a bottom plate with a pillar made of MDF material with less unnecessary resonance, and a screw-type spike can be used.
In addition, it can be firmly fixed and integrated with Stella Harmony with screws.
