VICTOR/JVC SX-11
¥ 32,000 (1 unit, around 1977)
Commentary
This is a speaker system of the double number series which is lower than the SX-55.
In the low frequency range, a 25 cm woofer is mounted on the diaphragm made of lightweight high-Young's modulus cone paper made by Horley Inc., U.S.A.
The high-frequency band is equipped with a newly designed 3 cm soft dome type tweeter re-examined from the special fabric base material of the dome.
Although this unit has the same aperture as the SX-55 tweeter, it is designed for wider bandwidth and with an emphasis on mid - and high-frequency fundamental sounds.
The enclosure has a bass-reflex structure, and a Douglas-Fir lumber core is used for the baffle.
SX-11R with a rosewood finish was also available.
