MASH1-Bid CD player with DAC and center mechanism.

The D/A converter is equipped with multi-stage noise shaping (Mash) using high-order oversampling technology and noise-shaping technology.
In this method, a digital filter oversamples the 16-bit digital signal and pushes the folded signal to the high-frequency band. Then, a multi-stage noise-shaping circuit called Mash compresses the 16-bit signal, and a pulse width modulation (PWM) circuit replaces it with a corresponding pulse. At this point, only low and high bits become one bit, and D/A conversion is performed with no relative accuracy errors in the amplitude direction. This realizes D/A conversion with no theoretical 0 cross distortion or non-linear distortion, and can reproduce low-level signals small signals superimposed on large signals without distortion.

Equipped with optical digital output of EIAJ standard format.

It employs a multi-layer vibration isolation structure and center mechanism that thoroughly eliminates vibration and resonance.
Four large insulators are used to reduce vibration from the floor. In addition, an optical deck is placed in the center of the body with a good weight balance and floated by a double insulator made of spring and viscoelastic material to reduce vibration.
In addition, in order to reduce vibration caused by sound pressure, a multi-layer composite of metal chassis base and BMC base is used to obtain high vibration damping effect.

The line-out circuit uses a classAA circuit unique to Technics. By sharing voltage control and current control with separate amplifiers, faithful waveform transmission that is less affected by load fluctuations is realized, and sound quality in actual use is improved.
The power supply circuit is independent of the transformer winding for the audio circuit. In addition, high-quality carbon film resistors, PSX electrolytic capacitors, and audio-only film capacitors selected by thorough trial listening are used to enhance sound quality.

Equipped with CD editing function which can select normal time edit or just time edit.
In normal edit mode, you can set the length of the tape with the tape length key to display the length and number of songs that can be recorded on the A/B side of the tape. You can also press the Just Time key to change the number of songs to minimize the remaining time on both sides of the tape.

It is equipped with a disc link function which is convenient for editing and recording from two or more CDs, and a time fade function which can automatically fade out.

Equipped with auto peak search that can easily set recording level on the deck side.

You can start playing in about one second with a high-speed linear access system that uses a high-precision linear motor and the direct 20 key.

It is equipped with functions such as timer play and auto queue.

Equipped with 2-step display ON/OFF function.

It is equipped with a synchro-edit function. By combining it with auto-reverse cassette decks (RS-TR355, RS-TR555) with a synchro-edit terminal, recording can be started on the deck side just by pressing the play key, and recording can be done automatically on both A and B sides of the tape.

Wireless remote control is included.
