Commentary

A CD player with super-clean digital filter and FF-1 laser pickup.

The audio circuit uses a newly developed super-clean digital filter.
This circuit combines a newly developed 96th order digital filter with a 7th order high-precision analog low-pass filter to eliminate unwanted noise components without compromising audio characteristics, thereby improving phase characteristics within the audio band, reducing distortion, and improving sound quality.

The FF-1 laser pick-up developed by Technics is used in the pick-up section.
This single-beam pickup has higher laser efficiency than conventional ones, greatly improves the SN ratio of the reproduced signal, and has excellent signal reading ability that is resistant to disc scratches and fingerprints.

A high-speed linear access system is used for the mechanism.
This mechanism adopts a traverse feed mechanism using a high-precision linear motor, and realizes high-speed access with an average pick-up movement between songs of 0.8 seconds. It also realizes a mechanism with very little shock when stopped.

It is equipped with functions such as random selection of 20 songs, repeat of all songs / program songs / A-B songs, two speed manual search in both forward and backward directions, programmable music scan and autospace.

A 2-color FL display fl display.

Wireless remote control with 10 keys is included.
