SJ-MD150
Commentary

MD deck equipped with HDES.

It is equipped with HDES (High Density Encoding System), a newly developed proprietary audio compression technology.
This circuit realizes compression of high-quality music signals by assigning bits to the frequency band that is optimal for audibility, reducing preecho noise by dividing the time axis into optimal segments, and reducing quantization noise by using a new quantization method.

Equipped with a 24-bit ATRAC DSP, it operates on digital data with 24-bit high precision when compressing or expanding music data, improving the reproduction of sound details.

The D/A converter is equipped with a 20-bit D/A converter and the A/D converter is equipped with a 20-bit A/D converter.

A sampling rate converter is included to support various digital sources.

Equipped with an analog REC level control that adjusts the REC level for the analog input.

It is equipped with MD editing functions such as divide/combine/move/erase and MD title input function by jog dial.

Equipped with synchronized recording and timer rerecording functions.

Equipped with two optical input systems and one optical output system.

Wireless remote control is included.
