Double cassette deck equipped with functions such as series playback and synchronized start.
When editing a tape, setting the Tape Speed Selector high reduces editing time by about half by making the tape run at about twice the normal speed. The selected tape speed is indicated by an indicator.
At high speed, the line and microphone inputs are cut off to prevent malfunction.
It is equipped with a synchronous start function that can start playback of dedicated tape 1 and recording of tape 2 simultaneously.
Turn on dubbing/mix, press the play key and pause key on Tape 1 to put it on standby, then press the record key on Tape 2 to release the pause on Tape 1 and start each time.
It is equipped with a series playback function that starts playback of Tape 1 following playback of Tape 2.
When Tape 1 is placed in the playback standby state and Tape 2 is started to play, the pause of Tape 1 is released at the end of the performance of Tape 2 and the playback starts automatically.
It is equipped with a mixing recording function, and it is possible to mix and multiplex recording of line or microphone input and tape 1.
A soft drive mechanism using a 2 speed electronically controlled DC motor is adopted for the mechanism part.
An MX head is used for the playback head of Tape 1 and the read / write head of Tape 2.
Both Tape 1 and Tape 2 have an auto tape selector that automatically sets the tape position.
Also, Tape 2 has a tape position indicator that can be checked by the LED on the cassette door.
