Commentary
Open reel deck equipped with isolated loop system and Oatley berth mechanism.
It is equipped with a playback Carapichea ipecacuanha bar mechanism using the infrared four Oatley roll method, making it possible to perform reciprocating playback and endless playback.
The mechanism uses an isolated loop system, which uses one large capstan and two pinch rollers to isolate the head contact path of the tape from the influence of the reel side, thereby achieving stable tape travel.
In addition, accurate rotation can be confirmed by strobbing with a quartz oscillator mounted on the reversing roller.
The capstan block uses a quartz-locked DD motor that controls rotation using crystal oscillation. This motor has a high-precision integrated structure in which the capstan and the rotating shaft of the motor are directly connected without using a belt or idler.
A large 34-mm-diameter capstan diameter capstan has been adopted for the capstan, and accurate and stable rotational performance has been achieved by the phase control method of quartz lock. In addition, a tension control method has been introduced for the reel drive, and tension fluctuation due to the tape winding diameter is reduced to almost constant.
The control circuit uses an IC logic control method.
In the case of direct change from ff or rew to play, etc., the electrobrake is automatically activated to stop the reel stand and move on to the next operation after confirmation.
