DVD-H2000
Commentary

A DVD audio player developed by bringing together Panasonic's high image quality and high sound quality technologies.

Equipped with a 192 kHz / 24-bit multi-bit audio DAC for DVD audio playback, it ensures a dynamic range of 144 dB (theoretical value) over the playback frequency band of approximately 100 kHz.
Multi-channel surround of up to 6 channels is also available.

Equipped with digital remaster processing that supports digital output of 88.2 kHz, it can be interpolated and played back to a very high frequency range that exceeds 20 kHz, the limit that can be reproduced by ordinary music CDs.
You can choose from three modes of this function so that you can get the best effect according to your music source.

It uses a large R-core power transformer exclusively for audio that greatly reduces noise in the power circuit.

The electrolytic condenser is equipped with a TAKE II ver. 3 condenser, the latest version of electrolytic condenser using an original bamboo fiber mixed separator.

A virtual battery operation using MOS FET is adopted for the power supply.

The bandwidth of the digital filter can be variable.

All channels (8 ch) class AA output circuit is mounted.

Class AA power supply circuit is mounted.

The audio circuit board has a symmetrical layout.

Equipped with audio only / digital off function.

It uses a 25 Mbps broadband optical connector.

Equipped with a toroidal core type coaxial pulse transformer.

The main chassis is made of aluminum die-cast in consideration of high rigidity, non-magnetism, low electric resistance and damping characteristics. By combining seven boxes three dimensionally and arranging each circuit block independently, interference between each circuit is minimized and chassis rigidity is greatly improved.

Uses a direct mount mechanism to protect the mechanism and circuit board from unnecessary vibration.

The 8-block independent construction greatly reduces electrical and mechanical interference between blocks.

The chassis bottom has a laminated structure with three 1.6 mm thick steel plates, and the top panel has a hybrid metal structure with 3.2 mm thick heavy steel plates.

Drive shelter structure is adopted, and interference of unnecessary vibration is suppressed by protecting the drive mechanism.

Uses high carbon cast iron insulator.

It is equipped with gold plated BNC output terminal (I/P independent) and brass machined gold plated RCA output terminal (2 systems).

Glass epoxy boards are used for all component boards.

Uses 3P-2P type extra-thick power cord with polarity display.

The video circuit uses a 54 MHz / 12-bit video D/A converter to support progressive video (525P). In addition, DVD video data recorded in 8-bit format is processed in 12-bit format to enhance reproducibility of minute level signals.
Furthermore, by using independent DACs for both progressive and interlaced signals, signal degradation due to crosstalk between signals is prevented.

Equipped with 4 types of digital noise reduction.
Background noise reduction, block noise reduction, mosquito noise reduction, and 3 d noise reduction detect and remove noise specific to MPEG compression.

Equipped with 3 types of progressive conversion functions.
In addition to the 24p → 60p conversion for motion picture film material and the 60i → 60p conversion for normal video image, it also supports 30p → 60p conversion for 30p software.

Equipped with ultra-low impedance electrolytic capacitor.

Equipped with progressive and interlaced output only.

Equipped with adaptive edge control.

It is equipped with RGB color array.

Equipped with intelligent source detection.

Equipped with a 2 d sharpening filter.

Equipped with various aspect conversion functions such as 4 : 3 LB Zoom & Shift.

Wireless remote control and sub remote control are included.
