SU-C7000 Ver.4.0
Commentary

This control amplifier is based on the SU-C7000 and has been upgraded by thorough consideration.

We have adopted an electrolytic capacitor that uses a newly developed bamboo fiber mixed separator.
In addition to improvements in the aluminum foil and electrolyte used in the MASTER series electrolytic capacitors, this capacitor is further improved in sound quality by mixing bamboo fiber with the separator, which greatly influences mechanical and electrical characteristics.

A battery-driven power supply system is used for the power supply. By completely separating the AC power supply from the signal circuit, noise loops caused by the connection code and AC power supply and switching noise of the power supply circuit are eliminated.
The battery can be fully charged for approximately four hours, and automatically switches to AC power when the battery is low and starts charging.

R-core transformer is used for the power transformer.
Since the cross section of the core of this transformer is circular, the magnetic flux is uniform and there are no joints in the core. Therefore, the leakage magnetic flux is extremely small. This reduces noise caused by the leakage magnetic flux entering the amplifier circuit.

A resistor rotating volume is used for the volume.
This volume has a unique structure that rotates the resistor, reducing by half the number of dissimilar metal joints that cause sound quality degradation. In addition, the resistor is made of fine-particle carbon, which greatly reduces distortion.
In addition, vibration transmitted to the brush is prevented by the heavy case of zinc die-cast with gold plating.

In order to reduce adverse effects caused by vibration outside the amplifier, a THCB (Technics Hybrid Construction Base) is adopted. Excellent vibration damping characteristics are realized by a multi-layer structure consisting of a chassis, a vibration isolation base and a copper-plated bottom chassis.
In addition, a large φ 60 mm insulator and side wood using bulk mold compound protects small signals from external vibration, and a 2.8 mm thick top plate protects electromagnetic radiation.

Equipped with balanced input / output terminals.

Uses a balanced volume with an ON/OFF switch.

The phono equalizer amplifier and flat amplifier use the classAA method.

Equipped with a battery voltmeter with AC/DC/Charge display.

The relay uses a silver-palladium and gold-clad contact relay sealed with nitrogen gas.

Glass epoxy gold plated printed circuit board is adopted.

Uses a very thick PC-OCC power cord with polarity display.
