Commentary

Virtual Battery Control with battery operation.

It is equipped with a virtual battery operation that demonstrates the same operating capability as a battery-driven power supply.
In this circuit, a reference potential generation circuit incorporating an FET into an electric circuit is used for capacitor charging, and the circuit is shut off during music playback to prevent power supply noise from entering, thereby reducing power supply noise.

The volume uses a resistor rotation type volume.
This volume employs a new structure in which the brush is fixed and the resistor is rotated, which is completely opposite to the conventional structure. This reduces the number of dissimilar metal joints that cause sound quality degradation. In addition, the resistor is specially mixed with finely pulverized carbon, which greatly reduces distortion.
In addition, a case made of zinc die-cast with a high specific gravity is used to prevent external vibration transmitted to the brush.

An R-core transformer is used for the power transformer to reduce leakage flux and obtain excellent regulation.

The chassis structure is based on Technics Hybrid Construction Base (THCB), and excellent vibration damping characteristics are obtained by the vibration proof design in which hard rubber base is sandwiched between copper plated steel plate bottom chassis and steel plate chassis.

In order to reduce contact resistance, gold-plated input / output terminals and gold-clad contact relays are used.
In addition, high-precision balanced input / output terminal is mounted.

The MASTER series the MASTER series high-tone aluminum electrolytic capacitor with improved mechanical characteristics by using a special damping aluminum case, and the resistor uses a newly developed non-inductive high-tone resistor.

Equipped with a phono equalizer amplifier compatible with MM/MC cartridges.

It comes with a system remote control that can operate a Technics CD player, tuner and cassette deck.
