Technics SU-C1010 Ver.3.0

Commentary

This is a control amplifier based on SU-C1010 with new and upgraded main parts.

A unique low-noise amplifier VGCA (Varibale Gain Control Amplifier) is used to support new-generation digital formats such as DVD-Audio.
In VGCA, we have adopted a method in which the gain of the amplifier section itself is changed, instead of the amplifier configuration in which the signal is reduced by the input volume and then amplified, which was adopted in conventional amplifiers, enabling reproduction with less residual noise.

A Ni-cd battery is used for the power supply for the audio circuit. By completely separating the AC power supply from the signal circuit, noise loops caused by the connection code and AC power supply and switching noise of the power supply circuit are eliminated.
The battery can be replaced from the front panel with 8 AA batteries connected in series. The battery can be fully charged for approximately 15 hours. When the battery voltage drops, the battery is recharged automatically.

In order to support multi-channel audio such as DVD audio, it is equipped with 6-channel input / output jacks, and the level of all channels can be controlled with the main volume.

We have adopted TAKE II Ver. 3.0 electrolytic capacitors.
After SU-C1010Ver3.0 has been specially designed for high sound quality after thorough trial listening of original high sound quality parts.

The power transformer uses an R-core transformer with less magnetic flux leakage to prevent deterioration of sound quality.

Uses a silver-palladium / gold-clad contact relay.

Equipped with two pre-out terminals for bi-amping.

Equipped with a wired remote function that enables you to turn the power of the power amplifier (SE-A1010) on / off.

Uses an OFC power cord with polarity indication.

System remote control is included.
