Commentary

The 10000 series stereo control amplifier was developed without any compromise in order to improve the performance and pursue the reproduction sound with the total power of the technics engineering team and the results of the research and development accumulated over many years.

The equalizer amplifier section has a 4-stage direct circuit configuration consisting of 3-stage direct differential amplification and emitter follower.
The first stage uses a specially selected low-noise PNP transistor, and the last stage uses a circuit configuration with a high voltage of 162 V, which greatly improves various characteristics.
For both Phono1 and 2, the input impedance can be switched in three stages and the input sensitivity can be switched in two stages. When the switch on the rear panel is panel, the input impedance is indicated on the front panel.

A differential amplifier circuit is also used for the tone control circuit to improve various characteristics.
The characteristics can be changed in steps of 2.5 dB. Moreover, the turnover frequency can be changed up to three steps in each of the high and low frequency ranges. Moreover, a tone defeat switch is mounted so that the characteristics can be returned to a flat characteristic.

An independent microphone amplifier is built in and can be mixed with the microphone. This microphone amplifier uses the same high voltage of 162 v as the equalizer circuit and is designed to withstand high input.
The level of the microphone input can be adjusted so that you can fade in and fade out. Mixed sound is output from the mixing recording jack so that you can record it as it is.

Equipped with a low-high filter, it is possible to attenuate at 18dB/oct. in two stages of low frequency and two stages of high frequency.

The headphone amplifier uses two differential amplifiers at the first stage and a complimentary service connection at the last stage.
In addition, it is equipped with an independent level adjustment knob for adjusting the volume of headphones, so you can adjust the volume of only headphones.

The volume uses a switch-type attenuator that changes the level in 22 steps from 0 dB to ∞ to prevent the deterioration of the SN ratio due to the volume.
Up to -34dB, the volume can be adjusted in increments of 2 dB. Also equipped with a -20dB attenuator, the volume can be adjusted in increments of 2 dB up to -54dB.

It is equipped with 2 pairs of tape monitor circuits and can dub each other.

Light-emitting diodes are used for indicators on the front panel to eliminate factors that cause deterioration of characteristics.

All connection terminals on the rear panel are gold-plated to prevent poor contact.
