Commentary

An FM/AM stereo receiver that combines an FM/AM tuner and pre-main amplifier.

The power amplifier section uses an all-stage direct-coupled differential amplifier OCL circuit without the output capacitor, which causes the degradation of low-frequency characteristics.
As a result, a smooth frequency characteristic is obtained from the ultra-low band to the ultra-high band, and the damping factor in the ultra-low band is kept flat.

The equalizer circuit of the preamp section employs a two stage direct connection configuration of PNP-NPN using carefully selected low-noise transistors.

The front end of the FM section is equipped with two FETs and four frequency linear type variable capacitor.
In addition, high input impedance, low noise 4-pole MOS FET is used for the first stage of RF, and 3 ceramic filters with 2 elements and 2 stages of retuned LC filter are used for the IF stage to realize excellent performance.

Uses an FM muting circuit using two LC filters.

The stereo MPX circuit uses a monolithic IC.
