Commentary
FM/AM tuner adopting quartz PLL synthesizer system.
Quartz PLL digital synthesizer system is adopted.
In this system, the phase of the frequency from the local oscillator circuit built into the front end is compared with the correct reference transmission frequency of the synthesizer section. When an error occurs, it is corrected immediately. This enables stable and clear reception without frequency fluctuations due to temperature or humidity changes.
Uses SANSUI's original pure active drive loop.
This system adds an in-depth approach to the front-end and PLL synthesizer system. High-speed diodes and high-signal-to-noise (SN) DC amplifiers driven by an independent stabilized power supply drive accelerate the front-end's responsiveness, while varicaps driven by frequency control and impedance voltage supply drive improve audio performance.
The front end is designed for high sensitivity reception and elimination of image interference from neighboring stations, and the IF stage is designed for both high selectivity and low distortion by examining materials.
A high-speed DC amplifier and a pilot cancel circuit are used in the amplifier section.
Equipped with a direct set function, you can use the preset buttons to enter the frequency directly with numbers.
It is equipped with a 10-station random preset tuning function which can freely store AM/FM.
2-pattern tuning is possible.
If you press the UP/DOWN switch hard, auto tuning is activated. In this mode, the search stops as soon as a station is detected, and if you keep pressing the switch, the station selection starts again.
Press the UP/DOWN switch lightly for manual tuning. In this mode, frequencies are Up down in FM100kHz steps and AM1kHz steps, and the search LED turns off when a station is caught.
Equipped with Last One Memory, you can store the last station you tuned to before turning off the power switch.
Equipped with a memory backup function, the memory contents are protected for a long time by the backup power supply even when the power cord is unplugged.
Equipped with an FM multipath indicator.
Equipped with an FM noise canceller.
Equipped with a calibration oscillator.
A fast recovery high-speed diode is used for the power supply.
It is equipped with 2 input terminals of 75 Ω F type coaxial antenna and 300 Ω brass antenna.
The sound quality of the AM tuner section is also important, and a high-sensitivity AM loop antenna that is resistant to noise is used for the antenna.
There are 2 color variations of black and silver.
