Commentary
An FM/AM tuner that inherited the musical quality of high-end tuners.
In addition to the front-end FET and frequency number line type varicon, dual and MOS FETs with lower noise figure are used for the RF-stage.
In the local oscillation circuit, a power supply stabilization circuit exclusive for the local oscillator is added to the oscillation stage and buffer stage to improve the interference rejection capability, S / N ratio, and practical sensitivity by making it a 3-stone configuration.
The IF stage employs a 2-stage ceramic filter (4 elements) and IC to improve selectivity characteristics.
In the FM / MPX section, a pair diode is used for the switching circuit.
Newly developed wide-band, high-selectivity coils and 2-element ceramic filters are used in the AM and IF sections.
In order to stabilize and improve ripple and power supply fluctuation, a stabilized power supply circuit with a ripple filter is adopted.
It is equipped with an MPX noise canceller that removes stereo noise without cutting the high-frequency components during FM, and a noise suppressor that acts as a whistle filter that eliminates unpleasant beat noise during AM.
Equipped with two output terminals, one for the amplifier and the other for recording directly from the tuner.
It is equipped with an FM Distant/Local change-over switch so that it can receive stably even in a strong electric field region.
75 Ω coaxial cable and 300 Ω balanced feeder antenna connection terminal are mounted.
It is equipped with a large bar antenna for AM with high sensitivity space winding.
Uses a linear scale that can be read every 250 kHz.
